In but a baby's breath of time, I shall go to the one and only event I look forward to each and every year.

ComiCon, baby!

I'm broke.  This is a painful fact of life.  I have the tickets, I have the will power, but I probably won't be able to afford food or water.  All I will be able to rely upon is the force of my will, and the power of my geekness.  And trash digging.  But besides that, I have a hotel room.  I've got some awesome friends.  And I have the vigor of annual obsession.

I love going to this thing.  Its crowded, at times overwhelming, massive, and heavily corporately sponsored.  I don't care.  I can't get enough of it.  I'm happy literally as soon as I wake up in the morning to when my head hits the pillow at night.

Anyone else going?  If so, maybe we can meet up.  You will be able to recognize me.  I'll be the bearded dude with a mile-long grin suffering from malnutrition and overstimulation.

This is gonna be AWESOME.
